Why Spray Young Grass ?

Many farmers ignore spraying out weeds in young grass but there are many of good reasons why you should !

Medium to heavy infestation of weeds unsprayed causes many bare patches in pasture, The loss of production 

from not spraying paddocks averages 3 weeks worth of grazing per hectare. For Dairy that equals about 75 milk solids per hectare for 3 weeks grazing and for $7.00 a Milk solid that equals $525.00 Per hectare.

For Lamb 3 weeks grazing equals 250 grams a day live weight x 20 lambs per hectare at $5.00 a kg carcase that equals $525.00 Per Hectare. With the costs of spraying  being between $38-$75 a hectare we can see that spraying young grass paddocks is well worth it.
